About

ProductionCONN is a dynamic enterprise dedicated to providing inspired events for the digital media, broadcast, and filmmaking community. Our annual two-day media and video production trade show unites creative minds within the production and post-production industry to experience emerging innovations, evolving technologies, and informative conferences.

ProductionCONN 2011 is November 30-December 1 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, Connecticut (Greater Hartford). By locating the event at the geographic center of New York and Boston, ProductionCONN has positioned itself as a highly anticipated "not-to-be-missed" east coast trade show.

Recent partnerships with SMPTE and Createasphere (formerly HD Expo), have contributed to the show’s fast rise in industry-recognition. With its level of workshop instruction and industry participation, ProductionCONN is bringing a caliber of event previously only seen in New York or the West Coast to the heart of New England.

Current highlights of ProductionCONN 2011 include:

  • Guest speakers A.C.E. motion picture editor Michael Tronick (Predator, Remember The Titans, Green Hornet), author/Emmy-nominated film editor Bobbie O’Steen and Howard Baldwin (film producer and founder/owner of the former New England/Hartford Whalers and current CT Whale).

This is a trade show in our own backyard! PCONN is not a user group event, nor is it a conference with just a state-wide reach. ProductionCONN has become an industry-recognized trade show that we are so proud to share with you. Please support our digital media community and seize the opportunity to experience an event you'd otherwise have to travel hours and spend a lot of dough to enjoy!

The inaugural ProductionCONN Expo marks the coming together of media production professionals as a community: digital media and video artists, producers and post-production professionals, writers and journalists, students and top-tier experts—united to learn, grow and share the wealth of knowledge.
