Two-Day Media and Video Production Trade Show
To Make Debut in Hartford, Connecticut
Hartford, CT (May 20, 2011)—ProductionCONN, a two-day media and video production trade show where creative minds unite to experience emerging innovations, evolving technologies, and informative conferences announced today details for its inaugural show on November 30 and December 1, 2011 in Hartford, Connecticut.
ProductionCONN 2011 will feature over 10,000 square feet of vendor exhibitions, interactive conferences, an after hours gala, and keynote dinner. Attendees will also enjoy WiFi enabled lounge areas, video games, product demonstrations, and the latest innovations and solutions from major exhibitors including AJA Video Systems, Adobe Systems Incorporated, JVC, HB Communications, and Panasonic.
The first ProductionCONN conference and exposition marks the coming together of media production professionals as a community: producers and post-production professionals, writers and journalists, students and top-tier experts—united to learn, grow and share the wealth of knowledge.

Guest speakers scheduled to appear at ProductionCONN 2011 include A.C.E. motion picture editor Michael Tronick (Predator, True Romance, Remember The Titans, Green Hornet), author Bobbie O’Steen (Cut To The Chase: 45 Years of Editing America’s Favorite Movies, The Invisible Cut: How Editors Make Movie Magic) and Howard Baldwin (producer, Mystery, Alaska; Sound of Thunder; Sahara; Swimming Upstream; Danny Deckchair; The Game of Their Lives; Ray; and founder/owner of the former New England/Hartford Whalers and current CT Whale hockey clubs).
Workshops will be taught by industry veterans Allan Title, Jem Schofield, Jeff Hoyt, and Woody Woodhall, and include Producing for Editors, Editing for Producers, Introduction to DSLR Filmmaking, Video Podcasting & Using Social Networks, Making Ear Candy, and Production Assistant 101: Lighting and Grip on the Set.
